Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement for Unified Communications

An Employee Benefits firm had grown significantly over time, going through multiple business acquisitions. This resulted in the use of two separate marketing systems—one for internal communications and another for external communications. The firm purchased Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement and approached us to help with integration and transition to a unified system.

Actions We Took:
  • Performed the basic setup for the new Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement org.
  • Configured key tools, including:
    • Email Studio
    • Content Builder
    • Journey Builder
  • Built pre-designed, branded templates for consistent communication.
  • Exported content from the two existing marketing systems.
  • Organized and imported all content into the new Marketing Cloud Engagement org.
Result:
  • The client successfully transitioned to using Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement as a unified platform for both internal and external communications.
  • The additional marketing systems were canceled, reducing costs and simplifying operations.
  • Streamlined communication processes across the organization.
  • Improved efficiency by consolidating multiple platforms into a single solution.
  • Enabled the client to maintain consistent branding and messaging across all communications.
